A family friendly installation celebrating the extraordinary story of the Mulberry trees’ existence in Britain.
Since Roman times, mulberries have been planted in London for their delicious fruit and medicinal virtues. A two-part installation, for the Conservation Foundation was created across two sites in London to help to tell this tale.
With focus on two of the Capitals oldest trees, a series of 5 tilting mirrored plinths sat at the base of the 400 year old Mulberries. Facts about the trees were etched onto the surface of the mirror which also provided a interactive window into the ancient canopy.
